Mr Monopoly made his way to Cape Point recently, where he was spotted looking dapper and at home exploring Cape Point and all it has to offer. We spotted him taking a ride on the Flying Dutchman Funicular, making his way up to the Lighthouse and enjoying the view at the lookout point.
This Mandela Day, Cape Point joined up with the members of the Cape Town Big 7 to treat 28 children from Groot Constantia wine farm to a range of the city’s top attractions.
The group of children, all between the ages of 6 and 20, made stops at several of the Cape Town Big 7 destinations, including a day trip out to Cape Point.
The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve is home to dozens of species of animals, including a variety of birds, reptiles and antelopes.

Cape Point’s resident pirate will roam around the funicular handing out delicious chocolately treats to families this Easter and present children with fun activity books that will teach them about the scenically beautiful attraction’s history, flora and fauna.
