This past weekend saw the official start of the popular Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts. As a fellow partner in the Cape Town Big 6, we simply had to attend. Sunday appeared to be a rather windy day in the Mother City, but once we arrived at Kirstenbosch, it’s like the picturesque mountain chased the wind away.

The soulful Majozi kicked off the amazing afternoon. He was followed by extremely talented Tresor, who brought along Beatenberg’s Mathew Field as a surprise act. Tresor’s musical hits include Never Let Me Go, Remedy and our personal favourite, Mount Everest.

Naturally, the bubbly was supplied by our favourite winery, Groot Constantia. A special thank you to Moyo Kirstenbosch, for supplying the yummy box of eats. All in all, a fun afternoon out.

The concerts will be happening every Sunday, until March 2019. If you haven’t got your tickets, there’s still time to get yours. Trust us, you will NOT be disappointed! Future acts include Lady Zamar, Black Motion, Lira, Mafikizolo and the legendary Bony M! Purchase your Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts tickets HERE.
