Scheduled Flying Dutchman Funicular downtime

Our Flying Dutchman Funicular will be undergoing scheduled maintenance on 21 August 2019. Please keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages for updates and notifications in the event that we need to extend this maintenance period.

Our Flying Dutchman Funicular will not be operating over this maintenance period, however, a shuttle service will operate during the planned downtime as an alternative form of transport. You can purchase tickets in the same way you would the funicular tickets, costs outlined below:

Adult return ticket: R70
Adult one-way ticket: R55
Scholar*/Pensioner** return ticket: R30
Scholar*/Pensioner** single ticket: R20
*scholar aged 6-16 (under 6 rides free)
**Pensioner aged 60+ – ID required
