Updated Cape Point Rates

SANParks has updated their pricing for Cape Point entry as of the 1st November 2018. By now you would have seen that locals do pay less, but what does this all mean exactly?

Well, SANParks have done plenty of research and have introduced new pricing for the Cape Point entrance fees. South African locals now pay R76 to enter the reserve and all you need to bring along is your South African ID.

Our funicular pricing has changed too! Get to Cape point early between 9 am to 12 pm, and a funicular return adult ticket will cost you R70, with an adult one-way ticket being R55. Arriving a bit later at Cape Point? From 12 pm – 5:30 pm a funicular return adult ticket costs R80, with an adult one-way ticket being R65.

Visit Cape Point and explore the flora and fauna, take a walk or even just enjoy the views while having a bite to eat at our Two Oceans Restaurant.

See you soon!

    Good day,

The main entrance is managed by SANParks and unfortunately, they don’t have a pre-booking system. You can only purchase your tickets upon arrival.
