Given the president’s recent national address, all national parks remain open.
Capacity Restrictions will be implemented as per COVID Level 3 Regulations within the Cape of Good Hope Section, including Cape Point. Operating hours remain unchanged. Open at 7 am and last entry at 5 pm and all to exit by 6 pm.
Permitted activities include walking, hiking and cycling, fishing & launching of boats. All accommodation units are available.
The Flying Dutchman funicular will be operational daily 9 am – 5 pm. Two Oceans Restaurant and Tiger’s Eye store (gift store) will only operate from daily 9 am – 4 pm, while the takeaway food shop will trade from 9 am – 4:30 pm daily.
“Everything as we know it has fundamentally changed with COVID-19, therefore we are requesting visitors to adhere to all official alert level 3 regulations when inside the Cape of Good Hope Section.”
A Covid-19 health-related questionnaire to be completed upon arrival at the gates, as well as mandatory temperature screenings, will be done by staff. Visitors with a temperature screening of 37.4 degrees Celsius and above will not be allowed access.
Maintain social distancing of at least 1.5m
Wear your masks at all times. No mask, no entry!
Visitors are encouraged to sanitize their hands at all times.
