South African National Parks Week will take place between 10 and 15 September 2018 in Table Mountain National Park and offers all South African citizens free entry into the park upon presentation of your South African ID book or card.

Getting to Cape Point is a bucket list tick for many people in South Africa and SANParks is going to help you with this tick in 2018. Together with our partners Metrorail and HGTS Tours we have created three packages to get you to Cape Point for the day.

The package includes free entry at Cape Point gate in Table Mountain National Park and all rail and bus transfers to and from the park.

The packages all leave from the main station in town and take you by train with, Metrorail, along the coast to Simonstown. From there you will step onto a HGTS Tours coach to be driven to Cape Point.

The coach will deliver you directly to the point where you will have the opportunity to spend time exploring the most southwesterly tip of the African continent, viewing the lighthouse and taking selfies of yourself and friends enjoying the park just like a tourist.

The standard package costs R150 per adult and is valid from the 11th to 15th September 2018 inclusive.

We have a senior citizens day on the 11th of September 2018 for a R100 per senior and

A Student Special from the 12th to the 14th September at a R100 a student.

Take a friend, get the family together and make a day of it.

Please remember to bring along your green bar-coded SA ID book or SA ID Card to gain free entry into any of the Parks.
