Intentions to travel to South African National Parks survey

Dear Friends,

We trust that you and your family are safe and healthy in this upside-down world we find ourselves in.

South African National Parks, which is the responsible body for Table Mountain National Park where Cape Point is situated,  has launched a study to try and understand how you, the tourist, feel about future travel to their parks.

Tourism has for many years been the cornerstone of financial sustainability to protected areas in South Africa. We believe tourism, as one of many industries that have been severely hit by the COVID-19 pandemic’s consequences, will eventually recover, but it is uncertain as to how long this recovery will take. We understand that your opinions, feelings and plans are all dependent on conditions and personal circumstances that might change very quickly in the immediate future, but we require your inputs to help SANParks gauge where travel intentions sit at the moment. Please consider answering the questionnaire even if you have no immediate plans to visit any of the parks again.

By doing so, you stand a chance to WIN 2 nights’ accommodation for 2 people in any of our national parks! Note the competition closes 1 May 2020.
